Android Question How to detect force stop

I have a long running service and if users stop it using "force stop", I want to know so that i can try to find a way for my app to restart.

Any hints would be appreciated.

The process is immediately killed and your app will not start until the user explicitly starts it. This is different than killing an app with a swipe from the recent apps list.
