How to scroll text in Editbox

Do you really want to ellipsize the text in an EditText where the user is supposed to enter text ?

I am getting this error when I am using with edittext as follows

Change MARQUEE to END.

After Changing Marquee to End

Text is not scrolling in the EditText.
I am fetching Data and text is long so I need scrolling.

It only works in single line mode. Do you need the text to be editable? If not then you should use CustomListView.AddText.

Yes , its a simple editText(Default mode is single line). Its a entry/update program and I am uploading the values from SQlight DB. I can't use customListview at this point of code.
Some of values are bigger than edittext width, i need a solution for this so that user can see the full value.

The text will not be scrollable if you use one of the truncating modes. The text is truncated.
