Android Question How to get data into a variable with HTTP GET on Android KitKat and Jellybean

Well. Im making an app for KitKat and Jellybean and I need to connect to my PHP server that responds with HTML'less GET responses. I can use WebView but I cant fetch anything from WebView. Libraries mostly dont work at KitKat. and I need help
