How To Know Connected Devices To PC

In My Program I Want To Know which scanner devices are connected to my pc. How Can i do this?.
is it possible?

My Twain library will let the user select a scanner from any that are installed with a Twain driver and let your program acquire images from it but I'm afraid it won't provide a list of devices for the program to use.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THE SCANNER NAMES INTO A VARIABLE?
