Do you want to allow the user to move the button? If yes then search for DraggableView.

I want to use a drag and drop function with my app.

The idea is that you have to pick up an image and drop that image in the correct box.

I searched on the websites and searched in the beginners guide and tutorials but not found any instructions for this.

I'm not able to find now the DraggableVew class to see how it works, but I suppose that if it is draggable it has event like DragStart, DragEnd.
When you intercept DragEnd you have the screen coordinates and you can compare them with the coordinates where your boxes are located and determine if it is inside or not.

You Can use the Floating Windows class found here https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/class-floating-windows.20639/#content as a start. I used this class in a card game where the user picks a card from the deck and drops it into 1 of 25 predefined locations.
