Android Question How to remove search bars on Google Maps in a webview

Are there any parameters I can add to this URL so that Google Maps will load in a webview without the large Search Bar at the top and the large "nearby POI" search bar at the bottom? I have allocated the lower half of the screen for the webview and there isn't much space left for the map display when these two bars are present.

WebView1.LoadUrl ("http://maps.google.com/maps?q=" & latval & "," & lonval)

latval and lonval are just the decimal degrees for the cordinates
