How to save text when switching orientations?

Hey guys,

I was scavenging around the site trying to figure this out, I am trying to save whatever text input i have, and then if the user decides to switch from portrait to landscape, that text input will still be there. Any easy way to do this?

I am trying what he showed, but it is not clear to me on how to use it. I cant use .savestate or .resetstate. What do I have to declare?

Erel, I do have a registered version of Basic4Android. I just checked under the "help" toolbar and "about"
