Android device.
so how do i get the simulator running and responding to my apps commands. is dji go 4 running at the same time? cause only dji go 4 can start the simulator. maybe you could show me how to do it with a video. I uploaded 3 pictures one duplicate. two are from assistant 2 running on my computer with the
rc and drone powered on. one is from the internet. you can see I'm not getting the option to run the simulator and most other things. am i doing something wrong?

I figured out how to do it. i watched a you tube video.

1. connect the pc usb to the micro usb on the left side of the mavic.

2. then, you connect your tablet to the remote controller, just like you were gonna fly.

3. it says to take the props off, but my motors never turned during the simulation.

4. Then run dji assistant 2.

5. power on the remote controller, and mavic, just like you were gonna fly.

6. on assistant 2, you will see connected devices, mavic pro.

7. click this and you will see a menu of the things you can do.

8. click simulator.

9. put in your latitude and longitude. then you will see the mavic on your google map.

10. click start simulating

11. fly with controller and app just like you fly for real

12. you will see the worst flight simulator display in the history of computers!

It is quite simple. You just need to connect the drone to the PC and run the program.
it says to take the props off, but my motors never turned during the simulation.
This is important. If the drone gets disconnected from the PC it will exit simulator mode. If you try to start the engines then they will start.

I was thinking about that. but fortunately, flying is a two step process. you start the engines, and then up stick. hopefully, if the engines start, you will know enough to turn the mavic off.
