Howto draw a simple polygon.

Hello All,

I am looking to draw a simple Polygon (8 points) and use a gradient fill background. I am also using panels on the same activity I wish to draw the polygon on,if the user makes any selection on the panel, it will alter the fill Background in the Polygon.

Any idea's or pointers to examples on this forum would be appreciated.

I have searched the posts to see if I can see/use anything but I have not come up with anything just yet.

If there is no animation/scaling/rotation involved it may be better to use pre-rendered polygons from bitmaps.
If you are talking about true 3D stuff, probably better to look at OpenGL Library from agraham.

You should create a Path object with the points and then limit the drawing region to this path by calling Canvas.ClipPath: Basic4android Search: canvas.clippath
