Why?
I just leave it for decoration.

Well, I willingly moved from chrome to edge about a month ago and its currently my default browser.
*For starters I love the flexibility to group tabs, and even move tabs to the side bar.
*I love the integration of Chat GPT 4 AI and Dall-E Image generator which sometimes help with searches. And yes, I still use ChatGPT and Google Bard.
*To me (Its gentle on my machine resources than Chrome)
*One interesting thing i discovered was, it prompts me for coupons when am buying stuffs on some website (suspiciously creepy). Example when buying hosting on *Namecheap, it prompts for available discount coupons and gets one that is applicable to your package
*It also comes with Splitscreen where you can put to open tabs side by side

And I am still discovering more productivity features.

I didn't think you could uninstall it to start with...

Why couldn't they just place a toggle in the Updates section , Do not install Edge.

I have just spent 2 days upgrading a PC ... the hoops I had to jump thru to get it to behave properly / network with the others ect:

Agree .. I use Opera , and after a few sessions of Default browser tug of war ... Edge now sits in the background never to be seen,
with background services disabled. (I think)

I have just revisited Edge with the latest release of opera ... Opera One (getting worse week by week) , but just cant make the jump . Even looked at revisiting Firefox.

Just learnt you can certainly Uninstall Edge , and there is a RegEdit to stop it reinstalling which obviously does not work.
Its a massive spaghetti soup under the hood is windows.

Have any of us written a browser in B4X? It should certainly be possible.

I'll buy that ... as long as incorporates an Add Blocker
