iOS Question I cannot create a key

Im trying to create my first iOS app but when I go to the step to create a key /tools/private sign key/ and enter 123456 as the password it returns an error: invalid password.

What on earth is this password for?
I tried using my apple developer ID password as well and that still returned the same error?

iOS sucks: keys, certificates, appID, wtf

It should work with 123456. Does it work if you use a longer password?

yes I tried longer passwords, I also tried running b4i as administrator. I still get the same error.
Does the password need to be anything in particular? is it supposed to be my apple login password?

I deleted all of the existing files in my keys folder and it worked!
