Android Question Icon error trying to update APK on Google Play

I'm trying to update a game on Google Play but am seeing the error:

You need to check the icon inside your APK because it is not valid.

I have a 512x512 PNG image icon in the resource folder so am confused what is going on??? this is just to update a game I've already updated many time with no problem.

i think its google play error or (new changes)

It might be this is not about the app icon, but other icons used in the app, like for floating action menu. this was reported in the german forum...

not sure it's that An Schi, I've only made a few updated ot my game, no changes to assets used at all.

... Guys.. just fixed by Google... now you can update your APK...
