icondata access denied

I have updated to to v6.8 I installed onto a different drive, and now when I compile previous projects I get a message (path)\icondata.dat access denied. The path is the new directory. I found an entry in the registry pointng to the old path I cahanged it to the new drive, rebooted but still no go....any cure ?

The path is not read from the regsitry. Basic4ppc takes icondata.dat from the same folder of the Basic4ppc Desktop.exe.
Is this a network path?
If you are running Vista then you can try running Basic4ppc as an administrator by right clicking on Basic4ppc Desktop.exe and choosing Run As Administrator.

BTW, why do you use the legacy compiler instead of the optimized compiler?
