IDE for first program?

What exactly is the issue your having, can you post a picture?

I had to start over, so no copy. But, I got as far as putting Activity. and LoadLayout.... then it loaded into the IDE fine. The guide shows the numbered lines (10,11,12,etc.) that are supposed to look like what is in the guide, but mine didn't. Then it skips to line 47?????????? Where did that info come from?
I really need a copy of the entire first IDE page, line from line or some better instructions to see what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Ray,
I think you downloaded the Beginner's Guide as a zip file from the from.
In this zip file you have also a folder with the source code of allmost all the programs explained in the guide (only the GPSExample is not included). So you can load the source code of MyFirstProgram and you see how it looks like.
