Idea for app, but thwarted by Android SMS restrictions

Lol this could actually work...

In fact, I'd be surprised if it hasn't already been done. A general intelligent auto-reply bot that runs each received message alongside a summary of the relationship situation, and sends back the generated reply. Or perhaps offers a list of possible replies to choose from.

Could cover multiple channels: text, email, messenger, whatsapp

Clearly something similar is already present on Twitter against Trump etc.

I've noticed that for the past few months, every time I tweet, I get one random different account like the tweet moments later, so they're obviously not real people.

AI companies are starting to enable their AI to interact with other apps on the device/computer by being able to read info on the screen then use simulated mouse clicks/touch screens to control other apps.

When that happens on mobile devices, then the AI could simply use of the default SMS app to send the messages - no permissions needed ;)

Last night "Rules of Engagement" had an episode in which an APP (Shy Guy) automatically switches incoming calls to Voice Mail so you don't have to talk to anyone....since the shows is a little dated it showed some foresight in that fiction.
