Hello,

The first one who will recognize me in real life gets a beer, coffee or even a glass of merlot.

Since I doubt you will make it to Okinawa... what is Merlot?
I know what coffee and beer are...:sign0089:

If you grab us in Okinawa, we'll get you 1.8 litres BOTTLE of "Awamori"

Cheers

Hi Robert,

Merlot is a wine grape.
One of the primary grapes in Bordeau.
You find also many Merlot varietals (wines with only this grape) in many areas over the world, and these are called Merlot.
In the area I live in, Rhone Valley between the source and Lake Geneva, there are also very good Merlots produced.

Best regards and cheers.

Gruezi Klaus,
"Man wird so alt wie ne Kuh und lernt immer noch dazu."
Sorry for my poor (Swiss) German, I'm almost Japanese.
Well, this sounds tasty, indeed.
By all means, please send me a bottle of that liquified merlot grapes:sign0060:
Just kidding...

Hi,

Just got my laptops back from repairs (both had some sort of nervous brake down).
Klaus: thanks for explaining. Luckely Spain has very nice wines for verrrrry nice prices and I can buy Merlot here as well.

Just learned about Awamori; strong stuff!! Nice to know that it's from you region, Robert.
If I ever go there, I will let you know so you can put the Awamori cold :sign0188:

Greets,
Helen.

Yep, it's strong stuff, but hardly anybody has Awamori straight (except the hard core of this island). I mix it with water or tea. You can also brew your own stuff with awamori, such as dragonfruit or fennel liquor. Consumed in reasonable quantity, awamori won't let you suffer of hangovers, unlike "sake" (rice wine). We also have a fine assortment of beers (Orion) and wine from Australia and New Zealand.

Hi All, Reading Klaus about the Merlot, I just realize that I am living in the Merlot region, at least I think I do...For those who know what this means, I am currently in the 49th Department, Saumur ville...If anyone is willing and lives near enougth, I'll be more that glad to buy you a cup of coffee!

Nice,

this vacance, I come to France in Seynes somewhere to the south.
My aunt has a "chambre d'hote" there
I also went to Poitiers (futuroscope, etc) and le Mans.
I ate the most perfect steak there
