I don't like the idea of having an exposed keyboard opposed to the screen... HP used to have a laptop that had a central pivoting point, so the screen rotated and sat on top of the keyboard hiding it!

I was just interested to know as I'm not really a Dell fan as I find that their prices are usually inflated for what you usually get. I used to only purchased Samsung laptop, but my last laptop wasn't a Samsung and I'm more than please about that.

Dell do make some nice towers (the precision series) that I have supplied to clients in the past few years, but they are expensive towers with some seriously high quality components in them. I'm not really a Dell laptop person even though they do make some really nice laptops

If a client insist on having a big branded tower or desktop, I usually suggest Dell, I no longer own my shops so I no longer build systems otherwise I would convince them to have my own custom builds, make more money that way

Long ago I departed from Dell and that was for the bad reputation then in the late 90ies and early 20ies
Now the name of the game is Lenovo (read IBM NotePad).. it's inexpensive, and maybe the reason is that most people don't
realize it is IBM technology that was sold to Chinese Lenovo company. the technology, the physical and (mental) strength is the same.
I use Lenevo for 5 years now.. not a single downtime.. it fell down many times and broke.. I didn't fix the broken corners of the case and
when I open it they laugh loudly. I must press the case corner down to plug the power supply! But now planning to give it an honorary discharge
and use the hard disk as external drive.
