Android Question imageview size.

Hi All.
I am very confused by the rotating needle example. I am trying to do something similar and I just can't fathom how to re size my bitmap.
I am trying with Activity.AddView(imvCompass, 0, 0,100%x,100%y)
I want the bitmap to be the full height of the screen and over to the left but this doesn't seem to work.
I guess I have fundamentally misunderstood.
An heavily commented version of the rotating needle example would help me if anybody has the time.

Post your project as a zip file (IDE menu Files / Export As Zip) and I'll have a look at it.
