Hello,

I have been asked by a friend to write an app to plan vaccinations from birth through to old age. I have planned to use a database to hold the records for each person but I am not sure how to set the reminders (which can be days, months or even up to 5 years). Can anyone suggest a solution. I have looked at the calender and notifications but am unsure. Thanks for any help.

I would create calendar entries with reminders, then you can ask the user how far ahead they want the reminder to happen.. or allow them to set it.

Thanks for the quick reply EPS.

I understand the coding from the Calendar Library by Lagore, however, I would like to use Android 2.2. My emulator is set for this but has no calendar! Why I don't know. Can you be of further help?
