In my view, the old "Share Your Creation" interface was more intuitive and easy to focus on.

With just the name, short description and a thumbnail, one can perfectly understand the project and the ones next to it, making it easy to select the one she wants to try in no time.
Now I must gaze at the screen like scooby doo and struggle in the middle of graphics and different fonts and colors..

I thought it was the first amendment and a couple of people in 'Olde Angleterre' but then - i'm from a different continent.

But - I tend to agree with the sentiment about the Share Your Creation landing page.

EDIT - I wonder if there could be the option (two buttons) one for the new format and one for the old format - then @Erel could do a page statistic on both to see which one members use the most - indicating a "democratic assessment" of preferences. That would be a temporary arrangement - and - somehow seems to be a more "friendly" way of approaching the question than posting a poll.
