Unfortunately the reverse is also true, Android is imitating Apple in some respects only limited as iOs

iOS used to be call iPhone OS. Recently, Apple renamed the iOS for iPad and called it iPad OS, and then tvOS for Apple TV. Maybe iOS for iPhone will renamed back to iPhone OS.
