Hi,
have 6
- and definitely more to come - really like the RPi.
- RPi B+ running the WeatherCubeOne (Raspberry Pi - B4J) showcase (24x7. Have build in the meantime several on request.
- RPi 2B as a Home Automation Production Server (24x7) running Domoticz and dedicated B4J applications (console or server). Running smooth since more then a year.
- RPi 2B as a Home Automation Test Server running Domoticz and dedicated B4J applications (console or server).
- RPi 2B for Lazarus UI developments (since Oracle latest Java versions does not support JavaFX anmore) ... and Iam still also an Object Pascal fan.
- RPi 2B for IoT experiments using GPIO and/or TinkerForge Brick + Bricklets and as software B4J or Lazarus. This is growing and currently my focus in exploring & learning. See my experiments. Beside the TinkerForge experiments, also starting to look into how to control digital modelrailroad (Roco) via RPi, TinkerForge & B4J (so RPi #7 is coming soon).
- RPi 2B for on request B4J Webserver applications (like Team Manager, To-Do Manager, InfoScreen and more). Few are running in production.
... the Network connection in most cases via WLAN
... the RPi's all run headless. Controlling the RPi's by using Putty & WinSCP plus in cases Remote Desktop (xrdp on the RPi).
... the B4J-Bridge btw is an essential tool for RPi B4J application development
... also build several SD cards used as
plug an play to test various, like Ubuntu, MediaPlayer, volkszaehler, etc. = power down, replace the SD card and power up
... and some
Arduinos (mainly used to test sensors connected to Home Automation)
