iOS Question ipad resolution

Hello,
We submitted an app for iPhone to apple store, but apple told us that does not look good on the iPad, indeed with the simulator (we don't have an ipad) we see that screen image is cutted.
Is there a way to adapt the scale without the need to create a variant? In case you have to create a variant, you have to adapt the measures of the iphone to the new variants for ipad, panel by panel and component by component or there is some way to automate it?

You don't need to add a variant though it is possible.

Use anchors and designer script.
