Android Question Is any Event Triggered When Volume UI Goes Away?

I need to save the set volume level. I could do it when it goes into Activity_Pause... but is there any event which is triggered when the "Volume UI" goes away that I can get at so I can save the volume right after they set it?

No. You can intercept the volume keys and then check the volume level after a few seconds.
