I was wondering if there was a better designer for the UI? ...or addons... I feel like the functionality could be increased...( such as how fireworks and Photoshop can be used to create layouts) ...
I should mention I'm very new to b4a.. ( but not vb6)
My own answer would be: all what is implemented in the graphical layout tool for Eclipse (installed with the Android plugin). At least the support for custom views and the alignment axis.
@IanWardell are you using the wysiwyg designer or the abstract designer? The visual designer with the script engine is quite powerful.
Custom views will be supported in the next version. The wysiwyg designer will not show the actual class due to technical limitations (it will show a "placeholder" view instead). However it will be very useful for building the complete UI with the designer / designer scripts.

I agree, and also:
- I would appreciate all properties settable for every view:sign0089:
- Grid setting isn't saved (on my pcs) and also displaing it would be usefull
- More grades of zooming?
- Possibility to load ttf file for assigning to texts
- Show Title e Full Screen parameters are obsolete, they are overriden by Module Attributes voices.
