it is very exciting...

Just today arrived the Arduino starter kit, so I will enter into this exciting world of programming und prototyping...some ideas are already here in my mind...so let's start....thanks to anywheresoftware for that great and free tool!!

just implemented the beginners guide push button example: it is like entering into the "stone age" - now I have a litte light and can push it on and off, whenever I want...
next aim will be the iron age

by the way, the beginners guide is very helpful, thanks to Erel & Klaus

soon you will get into the "industrialized" age, and get the Rduino to do whatever you want

And then the space age
I've not long started myself, yes I'm finding it really interesting and I've already got a an outdoor light working for myself. I can read it's state and decide that to do with it from my phone anywhere on the planet as I'm going through MQTT (thanks to the E man).

I'm just deciding whether or not buy an Arduino with a built-in AC dimmer, or just but an Arduino compatible AC dimmer and wire that up instead. The latter is looking like the winner at the moment...

I've not read the beginners guide, oh well lol...

I personally like the ESP board more. It doesn't need anything else to be world wide connected but to be in reach of my WiFi network.
