B4J Question JasperReports Lib

Im curious about this tech as per b4x posts. There is community edition 7, I have just downloaded and will be playing around.

Does the lib work with the latest version?

I will be using MySQL as my back-end, its supported right?

Support when developing projects when using this lib?
