Bug? jNet 1.76 SMTP raises error

I use the gmail smtp with StartTLS. With jNet 1.75 it works without error.

Works fine here. Tested with this code:

smtp.Initialize(smtpServer, 587, user, password, "smtp")
smtp.StartTLSMode = True
smtp.To.Add("xxx")
smtp.Subject = "test"
Wait For (smtp.Send) smtp_MessageSent(Success As Boolean)
Log(Success)

I am using the smtp class inside a background worker as private, I set all the properties in the initialize method of the background worker and create the message (recipient, body) and send it in another thread.

The thing is that if I use jNet 1.75 no errors are thrown and the message is sent, if I use 1.76 the above error raises so it must be of something that changed ... or from something i am not doing right

Try to reproduce it in a small project. It will be easier to debug.

Yes, only in the initialize method of the background worker ...

The change in v1.76 is related to the sender property.

In your above example you are not setting the sender ... i am setting like : My Name <myemail@mydomain.com> is there any other format ?
