Spend my saturday experimenting B4J. For a start, I just ported a SBAdmin2 Free template and wanted to see its performance as a standalone exe on a VPS. So far so good. My customers had asked for self-hosting but I cannot give them my PHP codes. B4J might be the best solution here 
The codes are just basic strings manipulations, no Controller nor MVP. HTMLs are breakdown into header, footer, topbar, navigation and body. Aka classic PHP style with no framework. Its not beautiful but it works. Just a day codings.
