LG Connect Optimizer
This tunes the LG connect from MetroPCS. It's able to control the dual-core cpu, lets you remove some junk system apps, other tweaks. My Second app.
Libraries used in my project were the AHViewPager, OSLibrary, Licensing, PreferenceActivity, StringUtils, and a whole lot of raw busybox linux commands I can get away with stuff because I tend to like making root system apps that don't really have B4A/Android API equivalents. Lots of my work involves reading the file system and parsing out cryptic results to get values directly from linux drivers.
A word of advice, use the licensing module. I've seen tons of pirated apps left and right, but none of my creations have ever turned up anywhere for free thankfully. I've read there were even automated hacking systems in place that automatically remove the other security feature that the android market had right as new apps came out!.
