Android Question List of configured WIFI SSID's

For an app i am creating I need to read the list configured of SSID's and check if I am in range of a selected one.
The idea is to check if I am at a certain location. I would like to be able to select this location without actually being there.

I have searched the site several times and didn't come up with anything. any help, examples or hints would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know whether they support these features or not.

I was looking for the B4A equivalent of this http://developer.android.com/reference/android/net/wifi/WifiManager.html#getConfiguredNetworks()

Unless i missed it I think this only lists the wifi networks that are in range not the configured ones.
