I've been working on a widget to display live cluster monitoring data from Nagios and Ganglia, but the more I refactor over what I'm doing, the more I realize that this visualization would work great as a live wallpaper as ambient notification of overall status.
I know that b4android doesn't do live wallpapers yet, but I'd like to add my voice to the wish list for this feature.
Related, if I build a full screen app that does the visualization that I'm expecting (which would work reasonably well), would you expect that it would be huge effort to convert that to a live wallpaper later?
