B4J Question LMTP client ?

Hi,

I need a LMTP client component (this is an SMTP variant for local delivery for POP3/IMAP mail servers such as Dovecot). The protocol is identical to SMTP but it starts with a command "LHLO" instead of "HELO" or "EHLO".

Of course I can write the protocol myself, but would the SMTP client component support this ?

No.

If you do like to implement it yourself then you can start with the FTP server example: [B4X] FTP Server implemented with Socket and AsyncStreams

ok, thanks implemented it ... Fortunately SMTP/LMTP is quite a simple protocol ...
