Locking app to landscape mode

i'm writing a little app that it only makes sense to run in landscape mode. how can i force it to start in landscape and ignore and roatation please ?

In the IDE, menu 'Project/Orientations supported/Landscape'.
Chapter 4.1.4 in the Beginner's Guide.
