Wish Log files

Asking to clear the log file has been a wish around forever and a day. Basically it cannot be done by the IDE.

I ask is it possible [in the future] to have the IDE filter out the previously displayed log text? Leaving only the latest log entry displayed.

Or perhaps a single log line with Chr(12) ASCII FF could do it.

Agreed, I was a bit too concise with that post :-/

I meant: it could be the answer. Presumably easy to implement, only needs to be done on the IDE side of the link, where there is already code to do it for the Log Clear button. Plus has the nice feature that, if you could pipe it to a printer, then it would start new Logs on new pages.

If we're good, perhaps we might even get a BEL as well, to ring the klaxon on serious errors rather than them getting lost amongst the FYI logs.
