I wish library developers would start to put their code onto Github, would make everything much more easy.
There are a lot interesting libraries but some of these are not maintained unfortunately. I we want to keep them relevant everyone should start sharing these on Github.
With the forking features of Github all would work much better.
I've seen a lot of forks that are just the original with just a minor tweak and sometimes they get away with all the credits as they just give it another name.
I wouldn't like to see that with my own code to be honnest.
Using git for personal/private use I might consider tho.
I can imagine the frustration with certain bugs in a compile lib where the original coder vanished or is not interested to fix/update it.
If I ever stopped with b4a then I would release code. Any of my small libs I have always given the source when requested. For example though, notificatiobn builder is like my baby so I wouldn't release code in til I left.
