i have a old iPod touch 5th generation, unfortunately it can only be updated to iOS 9.3.5.
i want to ask if i can still make iOS apps on this old device and those apps will continue to work, or i need latest iOS version.

thanks

I believe so!

My B4i apps work for iOS 8.0+.

However, I'm not sure you would want to develop on a 5th gen iPod touch. CPU is 32 bit & has other outdated specs.

it depends on what libs you want to use. some libs will require newer ios version targeting and most will work on ios8+.

if an app runs on an old iPod then there is no reason why it should not run on a newer device.
