Wish Manifest editor

Ok, maybe I'm just lazy, but I have never, even once, been able to use the small manifest editor window without maximizing it.
Wish: When the manifest editor is opened, please open it full-screen (maximized) so that the contents can be seen and edited.

...Or at least remember the size it was last in and restore it to that size.

For that matter, why not just open it as another tab in the main editor? Is there a reason it opens in a separate window that can't be docked?
