My computer died and I've had to re-install everything.
I followed the download/install procedures on your URL in post 3 when I first began, but I still get the error: Maven artifact not found: com.android.support/support-v4
Both Java and Android SDK are newly installed.
Can you advise on what I've missed?

You did used this tool to install the SDK? https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/gui-sdk-manager-for-newer-versions-of-android-tools.80090/
In B4A 7.8beta Tools -> SDKManager

If not: Use the tool (follow the instuctions in the Thread), and adapt the paths in Tools Configure paths.
