Maximum upload size?

I could find out by trial and error but it is easier to ask! What is the current maximum size of an upload file to the forum? I have a potentially very large upload that I will probably have to partition.

500kb. It is better to upload large files to one of the many cloud services and post a link (Google Drive, DropBox, and many others).

i usually use WeTransfer they allow up to 2GB and at the end of the upload they give you a link to use, downside, your upload will stay there for a week unless you have a premium account.
