Just downloaded and started to learn Basic4Android a few days ago. Love what I've seen so far. Great product!
I searched, but didn't see an obvious answer to my question. Is there a way to listen to the surrounding sounds via the microphone and measure the audo level? I don't want to record audio. I want to be able to trigger an event when the sound level hits a certain threshold in real time. Any tips or example on how to do so is appreciated.
