I'm wondering that since there's the B4i Hosted Builder, why not provide a B4J Hosted Builder that builds native packages for Mac using the App Packager? (This would be great for those who don't have access to a mac.)
Technically it is possible. However I'm not sure that it will be too useful as you must test your app on a Mac if you want to distribute a Mac app.
(And it cannot be a free product as the Mac builders will be quickly flooded so such a feature will have quite a lot overhead).
Two points:
1: That's only true if you use platform specific code. (The whole point of Java is to allow devs to write once and deploy anywhere.)
2: There are communities (such as /r/betatests) where you can post apps to be tested.
