Hi
I use this example to change colors. https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/theme-colors.87716/#content
Everything can be changed Android 6.0 (LG G3). Unfortunately, Android 8.0 (Lg G60) navigationBar remains black and its color can not be changed.
How can I change the color of the navigationBar ?
More than strange. Probably something wrong in B4A installation (or settings)
Let's do an experiment. Take a phone and open B4A forum in webbrowser.
Install attached apk. This is the first sample, compiled on my PC. Run. Are colors correct ?
PS. You will need to give Chrome permission to install "unknown" apps. Don't foget to remove this permission in phone settings after experiments.
I thought ... This is really strange. The navigation bar color is written in manifest. Works fine on my PC and emulators. APK should work exactly the same on both phones.
Your LG uses original Android-8 or makes own firmware ?
Yes, I think so.
My main phone (OnePlus A5010) has custom firmware, but I do not see differences with emulators.
Meanwhile the firmware of another phone (xiaomi redmi) is very specific.
Probably, there are special settings in LG firmware.
Did you see another apps on your phone with non-black or non-white navigation panel ?
