Need help setting up jRDC

Hi guys,

I am a complete noob in DataBase and RDC, I just managed to connect to my test database using HidiSQL,
but I would like to set up jRDC so that I can start messing around with my DB.
My problem is, the whole procedure just eludes me, and I just don't even know where to start...
Is anyone willing to give me a hand?
I can't pay much.... only enough for a couple of beers...
