Share My Creation New App

Hi guys,

I thought i would put some pics on of a new app i have been working on for a company (i cant post the code as it is for a company), this app basically receives ship information via Bluetooth or Wifi and displays it on an android device (the Captain can then stand where he wants or on the Bridge wings while docking the ship and see the navigation information he requires.

The app is only about 90% complete and then it is finished I will need to soak test it to ensure it doesn't throw up any odd errors, but so far it has gone really well, thanks to the ease of B4A and also the help from everyone on the forums.

Keep up the good work

Looks great! Screen is shipshape - right to the point with out any frills. BTW, your icon chorus is doing what (in showbiz) is called a "contagion". Apt handle, right?

I have created this for a company in the UK who already have their Ships Movement Information Display System (SMIDS) onboard ships and have done for many years. They originally used PDA's to display the info but these are becoming few and far between and Android devices are cheap and plentiful so they wanted to update, Their website is http://www.amimarine.net/products-page/smids/.

so this will come as a whole system, i am also creating a virtual bridge (bridge as in where they steer a ship), so that the Tablet can show all the sensor information along with radar picture and AIS data over Bluetooth and Wifi, that way the Master/captain can see whats going on while he is out and about (on vessels made from GRP and not steel due to signal)

Thanks

Stu
