New Bookmarks Feature

The forum now allows bookmarking posts. This is a simple and useful feature for organizing information.

Whenever you see a post that might be useful for you, click on the Bookmark link in the bottom right corner:



You can set a title and tag or leave them empty.



Favorite bookmarks appear in the drop down menu:



All bookmarks appear in the profile page.

Note that bookmarks are public. This means that other members can see them as well.

Is the bookmark feature be user customizable? (Like for better organization)

Hmmm...
Out of my Understanding (i may be wrong!)

Per DEFAULT they are public. But you can change its status to "Private" (or back to Public) and then only the one who created the bookmark can see it. Or not?

You can use the tag field to organize the bookmarks.

That's true. You can change their visibility in the bookmarks page.

It is now possible to find bookmarked posts with the search engine based on the bookmark tags.

The main purpose for this feature is to allow building and sharing collections of useful posts around a specific topic (games, database, ...).
You can for example bookmark all your libraries with a unique tag and then find them with a search such as:

https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/pages/results/?bookmark_tag=abmaterial

Edit: It can take several hours for new bookmarks to appear in the results.

I used the "watch thread" to keep track of threads of interest, now I Bookmark, top
