New Compition (Money Prize)

Hope you are doing great

As we have said before, lets take B4X to the moon ?

We still didn't take @Erel permission yet BTW but we wanted to see the crowd reaction first ?

We are thinking of creating a coding competition, we will give you a problem and you have to solve it within 1 hour. (coding problem)

There will be 3 Winners
1- First winner gets 75$
2- Second winner gets 50$
3- Third winner gets 25$

This idea is inspired by "Google's Coding Competitions"

Time period : 24 hours (until 08-03-2021) (dd-mm-yyyy) (GMT +2)

Prize money :
First place : 75$
Second place : 50$
Third place : 25$

The problems :
*The problems will be given to be solved regarding B4i
Problem 1 : User Interface
Problem 2 : Coding

The competition will be held on our website and we will notify you once we have uploaded the platform.

Declaimer :
1- Minimum entries : 50 entries
2- B4X and @Erel are not affiliated nor they are behind this competition, this is purely us

Results :
The results will be announced the very next day.
The results will be judged upon the Design and the Code.

Payment method:
The payment method is Paypal

My own problem with programming is that i spend way too much time on design
can we get this way:
1 hour to solve the problem
1 more hour to make the design neat, if the problem needs a ui ^^

8th should be my lucky number. But looking at the wheel, its mostly between 30-40? Should I wait and post later?

A competition like that will wont be bad. The first price money should be upped a little ie 75, 50, 25 thats my opinion

I dont think money prizes are the way to go, and I have my reservation about @Erel being OK with this...
I think you should go more with a "discount coupon" for any of your source codes...

One problem could be that community members live in different time zones.
I like your initiatives. May I suggest a "championship" scheme? A series of challenges and a general leaderboard. This could keep the community playing for a longer time
