A list of similar threads is now displayed in questions threads (and other sub-forums as well).

These links are especially important for older threads. The similarity is found based on the title and content of the first post.

It is not perfect (it can't be), however in most cases the results are relevant.

I believe this is a very useful feature.
Another good thing about it, is that if you dont see relevant similar threads popping up in your thread, it means your own post is unclear and not worded properly.
Also, in this way, we can refer many questions/responses straight to similar threads.
Thank you!

Note that for new threads the list will only appear once the thread is indexed. Currently the "indexer" runs every hour. Will probably make it run more frequently in the future.

Useful feature, but the top positioning takes the focus away from what i'm reading. And it's on every page.
On most sites, i saw the Similar Threads located at the bottom.

I guess I am used to the other forums where I participate and where the "similar threads" feature is normally located at the bottom. It is no big deal - I will adjust. However, perhaps the font-size could be decreased a bit. ;)
