I believe this is a very useful feature.
Another good thing about it, is that if you dont see relevant similar threads popping up in your thread, it means your own post is unclear and not worded properly.
Also, in this way, we can refer many questions/responses straight to similar threads.

Note that for new threads the list will only appear once the thread is indexed. Currently the "indexer" runs every hour. Will probably make it run more frequently in the future.
Useful feature, but the top positioning takes the focus away from what i'm reading. And it's on every page.

Personally I prefer it on the top. It gives more visibility to it, since almost 80% questions on the forums are duplicates of another.
If you put it at the bottom, it will be ignored by everyone.
I guess I am used to the other forums where I participate and where the "similar threads" feature is normally located at the bottom. It is no big deal - I will adjust. However, perhaps the font-size could be decreased a bit.
