New posts number

After reading 7 pages of search results as a newbie I finally figured out how to make NDK libraries for B4A and reduce this new posts number about 100+.

Does this number mean in the whole forum I have 5462 new posts or new titles not read? Just curious. I assume some veterans may have this number of ZERO.

It means 5462 posts. But lot of them maybe from the same thread.
I mean, you can have 3 threads unreaded, every one of them with 3 posts, and it will show 9.

Well it seems the number may relate to user forum registration date? not counting the posts before the date, if not then I guess my number should be much larger.

You can click on:

It will mark all current posts as read and will reset the counter.
